Looks like a wonderful Sunday was had!
it was a quiet but busy day
A nice Sunday indeed. In the weaving, I see eyes in the diamond-dots!
oh I see them now too!!! they are part of the fish print, so I didn’t see them til now. funny
that long indigo cloth is like a stretch of sky Dee!
I thought the same! it disappoints as a print, but for itself it is kind of wonderful
love the effects dee, you are enjoying the blue.
thanks, Jude — yes, I am enjoying the blue! this batch was with indigo crystals that I bought back when I took Glennis’s online class in 2012… they didn’t color as deeply as I had hoped.
P.S. the patchworked linen was a single piece of fabric sewn up during the last class (I think?) with you online… the notion of a ‘false’ patchwork made by folding a single piece of fabric and creating seams — I’m sure you remember.
The feet resting on a pile of papers could be at our house. I love the shadow around the moon in the blue and yellow piece. It looks like lots of excitement is in store when you open up those bundles.
excitement, yes, and sometimes disappointment! sometimes it seems there is an inverse relationship to the amount of time I spend creating resists and the result… (rubber bands taking the cake every time)… this is probably b/c I have yet to stitch properly.
